Mainframe DB2 Database Administrator (DBA) Full Time, Contract

Role: Mainframe Db2 Database Administrator (DBA)

The consultant will be responsible for:

Design, create, and maintain Db2 databases, tablespaces, indexes, and related database objects on z/OS.

Monitor and optimize database performance through SQL tuning, indexing strategies, and space management.

Perform database backup, recovery, reorganization, and routine maintenance to ensure data availability and integrity.

Manage database security, user access, and compliance with organizational standards and policies.

Support application deployments, troubleshoot database issues, and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.

Practical Information About the Assignment Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Until February 2027, with a strong possibility of a 1-2 month extension.

Work Setup: Hybrid or remote

Client only consider consultants who are based within the EU for this positions.
