We serve not only classic favourites like butter chicken and biriyani, but also lesser known Indian regional food, with myriad of spices and flavours as our specilities. Our cafe Tinyhus serves continental food, also traditional local cuisines for events and catering. Job Description

Tandoori Twist, a growing Indian Restaurant and Takeaway located in Copenhagen, looking for team member who is outgoing and hard-working. If you have experience as a Kitchen Assistant, especially in Asian / Indian restaurant and are proactive, quick-learner,

Your primary task will be to assist our Chefs in the kitchen, including cutting of vegetables, packing food for delivery, dish-washing and cleaning of kitchen.

It will be advantageous if you have strong experience in cooking (e.g. making Indian fried bread or momo / dumplings)

You may have to assist the waiters whenever required in serving food. In addition, there is cleaning of our premises and facilities on an ongoing basis and during the closing hours. Physical strength is needed to carry heavy utensils and equipment.

This is a part-time position. The work is mainly in the evening and also during weekends. Please note that you need to have right to work in Denmark as work-permit will not be sponsored for this position.

Requirements

Your profile:

It is mandatory to have prior experience in kitchen and familiarity with Indian cuisine

You are fluent in English.

You are punctual

You are proactive and structured in your work.

You maintain strong hygiene (self-hygiene and environment)

You can work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and efficient in juggling multiple tasks typical for a small but growing organisation

Since this is a part-time position, work-permit will not be sponsored for this position. Unless you have a valid residence and work permit to work in Denmark, your application will not be proceeded with.
