Responsibilities Perform various masonry tasks such as building repairing and maintaining structures using bricks stones concrete blocks and other materials

Read and interpret blueprints and other construction plans

Mix mortar and concrete according to specifications

Use hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively

Follow safety protocols at all times

Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time

Maintain clean work area and ensure proper storage of tools and materials

Requirements High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

Good physical stamina and dexterity

Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements

Willingness to learn new skills on the job

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in construction or masonry is an asset but not required

Completion of a masonry apprenticeship program

Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations
