Job Description

Test Engineer – Help Ensure the Quality Behind Exceptional Sound Join Pascal and play a key role in ensuring the quality of world-class professional audio solutions. As a Test Engineer, you’ll help deliver reliable, high-performance software that powers products used by leading global audio brands.

You’ll become part of our Software team in Herlev, working alongside two experienced Test Engineers and collaborating closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and product teams. This is an opportunity to influence both product quality and the way testing evolves as Pascal continues its journey from start-up to scale-up.

What You’ll Do Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated software tests

Develop and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories

Work closely with software developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects

Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle in an agile environment

Contribute to improving test processes, methodologies, and quality standards

Support the integration of testing into development and release processes

Participate actively in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives

Help strengthen quality assurance practices as the organization continues to mature

What You Bring Experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or similar role in a software or technical development environment

Experience with test design and execution of manual and/or automated testing

Experience working with agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar

Experience writing and maintaining test cases based on requirements and user stories

A solid understanding of software development and the ability to collaborate closely with developers

Excellent communication skills in English

It’s a Plus If You Also Bring Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Experience testing desktop applications (Electron, Tauri, or similar)

Experience working with audio products, embedded systems, or hardware‑near software

Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar bug tracking tools

What’s In It For You At Pascal, you’ll get more than "just" a testing role.

Become part of a company developing technology trusted by some of the world’s leading professional audio brands

Work in a highly skilled engineering environment where quality, collaboration, and technical excellence are highly valued

Take ownership of your work and have real influence on testing strategies and quality improvements

Join a company transitioning from a start-up mindset toward a more mature scale-up organization—where processes continue to evolve without sacrificing agility

Enjoy flexible working conditions, an informal culture, and colleagues who support each other while maintaining high professional standards

Receive an attractive employment package including pension, health insurance, mobile phone, internet, and lunch scheme

Experience a Scandinavian work culture built on trust, flexibility, and healthy work-life balance

Who You Are You’re motivated by building quality into software rather than simply finding bugs. You thrive in an environment where processes are developing, enjoy taking responsibility for your own work, and like collaborating across disciplines to improve both products and ways of working.

You’re comfortable working independently while also being an active contributor to a close‑knit engineering team.

Practical Information Department: Software

Team: Test (2 colleagues)

Reporting to: Director of Software Engineering

Start date: As soon as possible

Pascal is committed to ensuring a fair recruitment process and providing equal opportunities to all applicants. We therefore kindly ask you not to include a photo in your CV or application.

To join us, you’ll need to be eligible to work in Denmark and able to obtain any relevant work and residence permits.
