No one is sure those were drones. Do you want to find out – for sure?
Then maybe you are one of the two senior embedded software engineers this cutting-edge Counter - UAS platform is looking for.
teqLink is looking for two experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineers who know their AI agents to join a small, fast-growing team within Counter-UAS technology in Copenhagen.
You will own software that is part of a distributed system of edge AI nodes and sensors: NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor and Orin NX under embedded Linux, driving radar, daylight cameras and thermal imagers, and turning their output into tracks an operator can act on.
The system is highly distributed. Sensor nodes, edge inference, fusion and the operator picture run as separate processes on separate machines over a network, which shapes most of our design decisions.
Both software engineers will be working on the same system, but we expect one person to lean toward perception and computer vision, and the other toward platform, sensor integration and distributed real-time performance.
Tell us which end of that you gravitate to - we would rather shape the roles around the people we hire than the other way round.
Typical work:
Detection and tracking pipelines: camera and thermal ingest, inference, and low-latency performance optimization for edge computations
Sensor fusion: fuse input from different nodes such as radar, electro-optical and infra-red cameras, acoustic sensors and RF. Processing, association, track management and intelligence
The distributed layer: message transport between nodes, time synchronization, fault tolerance and recovery
Sensors: integration of new sensor hardware, drivers and protocol layers, calibration and management
Bring-up new hardware: board support, kernel drivers and software integration work
Field trials: test the system in real scenarios, and come back with the list of things that need fixing
Requirements
Experienced with modern C++ development and embedded systems
Linux experience - you are comfortable working across different layers of the stack
Experience with computer vision and/or distributed systems
Comfortable working with AI agents in your day-to-day work
The ability to take ownership and work from a problem statement rather than a specification. We define the problem and the constraints; the design and the tradeoffs are yours
Curiosity and a preference for testing an assumption over discussing it
Willingness to say a design is wrong - including one of ours, including one you shipped last month
About the company
Our client is a Danish start-up company in the capital region that develops a cutting-edge Counter-UAS platform for the defense sector. More details to follow at the interview.
This is an onsite position – fully remote is not an option.
