An internship with a broad focus on project processes

As an intern in Customer Projects, you will gain hands‑on experience with the full project process from technical preparation to customer dialogue and internal coordination. The internship offers flexibility, allowing you to focus more on either project management, technical engineering, or a combination of both, depending on your background and interests.

You will be involved in tasks such as:

Supporting internal and external project meetings, including preparation of presentations, documentation, and follow-up

Assisting with technical tasks such as site specifications, coverage maps, and network overview

Participating in process optimization and transition projects to ensure scalable and efficient project execution

Handling landowner agreements and contributing to the dialogue around network deployment

Working with ERP systems and project tools to ensure data accuracy and process alignment

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to influence direction and your tasks during the internship, which will ensure the optimal environment for your development.

Meet your future team

As an intern in Customer Projects, you will be part of a professionally strong department consisting of 11 Project Managers and Specialists that deliver remote reading systems for meters to our heat/cooling customers. You will be on equal footing with our project team and assist them in the implementation of customer projects all the way from contract signing to system handover. You will collaborate closely with experienced Engineers, Project Managers, and other technicians. As a department we are characterized by mutual trust and freedom to act with responsibility. We have an informal tone, where emphasis is on professional sparring and feedback.

Did you know? All Project Managers in the team have started as interns in the team.

We are looking for a motivated and curious student who is eager to explore the field of project management and contribute to customer projects in a technical and international environment. Your theoretical knowledge and personal drive will help strengthen Kamstrup’s Customer Project department. Furthermore, you value professional sparring and teamwork while also being able to work independently with many ongoing projects.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

Are currently studying Global Business Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, IT or another relevant field

Have an interest in technical systems and great communication skills that allow you to clearly convey information to both customers and colleagues

Are curious, investigative and pragmatic in problem-solving and idea generation

Are structured and have a good understanding of importance of economic overview and control in projects

Bring a positive mindset

As we are an international organisation it is important that you have high proficiency in English.
