About the Role: Are you looking for a stepping stone into a career within the Hyperscale industry, with no previous experience being required?
Based across Denmark / Portugal
You’ll play a key role in supporting electrical and construction activities on site, operating a range of plant and specialist equipment including telehandlers, excavators, forklifts, MEWPs, cranes, winches and cable-pulling equipment.
Liasing with Site Supervisors &Project Management for up to date site arrangements.
Specific Responsibilities: Support Electrical and Construction activities on site.
Operate a range of plant and specialised equipment.
Responsible for safe use of all plant / machinery.
Check in with Site Supervisor/Project Management for workload requirements.
Follow Method Statements / RAMS / Site Procedures
Person Specification: Proven experience working as a Plant Operator on large-scale construction, infrastructure, electrical or data centre projects.
Relevant and valid plant operation certifications/licences for the equipment required, such as telehandlers, excavators, forklifts, MEWPs, cranes or similar.
Experience operating winches, cable-pulling equipment or lifting equipment would be advantageous.
Ability to carry out daily plant and equipment inspections and identify/report defects.
Ability to follow method statements, risk assessments and site procedures.
Strong awareness of working safely around electrical installations, heavy equipment and other site activities.
Willingness to work across Denmark and Portugal, including travel and/or rotational assignments as required.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructionsfrom site supervisors and project management.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and professionalism.
Experience driving either a tractor / lorry
