Quantum Machines isestablishinga dedicated Cryogenic Control team as part of ourCryoProduct Line. We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Product Manager & Team Lead t o define this emerging product area and build the team that will deliver it.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of quantum technology, cryogenic electronics, semiconductordevelopmentand product strategy. You will help turn emerging technologies into products that solve real scaling challenges for quantum-computing customers.

About the Role

As Product Manager & Team Lead for Cryogenic Control, you will own the direction, productstrategyand development of Quantum Machines’ cryogenic control activities.

You will lead a small, highlyspecialisedteam working on the evaluation, testing andproductisationof cryogenic electronics.A keyinitialobjectivewill be toestablishthe right technology and commercial partnerships toproductisea cryogenic multiplexer and the associated carriers,packagesand test infrastructureas a first step.

You will work closely with quantum physicists, system architects, electronics engineers, packaging specialists, semiconductor partners, foundries,customersand commercial stakeholders.

The role requires someone who can understandthe physicsand engineering well enough to make informed product decisions, whilemaintaininga strong focus on customer value, marketdevelopmentand commercial execution.

Key Responsibilities

Define the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Cryogenic Controltogether with Architecture and Research.

Develop a deep understanding of customerarchitectures, quantum-control use cases and system-scaling challenges.

Identifywhere cryogenic electronics can create meaningful technical and commercial value.

Translatequantum-systemrequirements into clear product and technology priorities.

Lead the Cryogenic Control team andestablishan effective,ambitiousand collaborative working environment.

Build the team’s technical capabilities,processesand externalnetwork.

Identify,assessand develop partnerships with cryogenic-electronics suppliers, semiconductor companies, fabless designorganisations,foundriesand research institutions.

Drive theselection,evaluationand testing of cryogenic electronic technologies.

Lead theproductisationof a cryogenic multiplexer together with external technology partnersand QMCryopackaging group.

Build business cases, market assessments, pricingstrategiesandcommercialisationplans.

Represent the Cryogenic Control area internally and externally.

Requirements

We expect you to have a strong technical foundation in one or more of the following areas:

Quantum measurement or quantum-control systems.

Cryogenic electronics.

Integrated-circuitdesign,validationor application engineering.

Mixed-signal,RFor microwave semiconductor products.

Semiconductor product development.

Advancedelectronic-systemvalidation.

Quantum-computing hardware or measurement infrastructure.

Experience from a commercial technologyorganisationis highly valuable. You may currently work in product management, product strategy, applications engineering, semiconductor development, quantumtechnologyor technical business development.

Previousproduct-management experience will help you move quickly in the role, but we are also interested in candidates with strong technical and commercial judgement who are ready to take broader product ownership.

The ability to navigate quantum use cases and understand how technology choices influence system-level performance.

Enough physics understanding to engage credibly with physicists and quantum engineers.

Strong commercial judgement and business acumen.

The ability to connect scientific possibilities with customer needs andviableproducts.

Experience working across engineering, research, commercial and leadership teams.

The ability to evaluate technologies that are still developing and may not yet haveestablishedspecifications, supplychainsor markets.

Strong communicationskills and the confidence to engage with customers, researchers,suppliersand senior stakeholders.

The ability toestablishdirectionwhere the path is not yet fully defined.

Curiosity,opennessand the willingness to challenge assumptions.

Experience with fabless semiconductor development, foundry processes, technology transfer, semiconductorpackagingor outsourced manufacturing would be an advantage.
