Crane Operator

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in the beautiful city of Faroe-Islands As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift move and position heavy objects on construction sites This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per week

Key Responsibilities Operate cranes safely and efficiently according to job specifications

Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance

Rig and set up crane for lifting operations

Communicate with other team members to ensure safe movement of materials

Follow all safety regulations and protocols at all times

Maintain accurate records of crane operations maintenance and inspections

Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a Crane Operator

Valid crane operator certification

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Familiarity with different types of cranes mobile tower overhead

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions

Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory the following qualifications will be considered an asset

Previous experience operating cranes in construction or industrial settings

Experience operating multiple types of cranes

Knowledge of basic rigging principles
