Equipment Operator

Position Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Operator for our company based in Esbjerg The primary responsibility of this role is to operate and maintain equipment used in construction maintenance and repair work

Key Responsibilities Operate various types of heavy equipment including bulldozers excavators loaders and graders

Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times

Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning

Complete tasks assigned by supervisor according to project schedules

Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow

Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment issues that may arise during operation

Maintain accurate records of work performed materials used and equipment maintenance

Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar environment

Valid commercial drivers license CDL with clean driving record preferred

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and diagrams

Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment preferred eg backhoes skid steers

Certification from a recognized training institute for heavy equipment operation is a plus

Salary The starting salary for this position is $1500 per month with potential for increase based on performance

Location This position is based in Esbjerg however travel to other project sites within the region may be required
