In this role, you will be responsible for the mid and long-term planning and optimisation of service campaigns and retrofit activities for Thor Offshore Wind Farm. Working closely with operations engineers and other internal and external stakeholders, you will help establish robust plans, monitor delivery, analyse deviations, and coordinate actions that support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
As Operations Engineer, Asset Planner, you will also act as the site focal point for planning-related digital tools and support the wind farm’s permitting, certification, statutory inspection, continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability activities. This site-based role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to one of Denmark’s most significant offshore wind projects while collaborating across the wider offshore fleet.
About the role
Lead the mid and long-term planning and optimisation of service campaigns and retrofit activities in collaboration with other operations engineers
Develop and communicate campaign programmes to relevant internal and external stakeholders
Monitor and report on campaign progress, analyse deviations from plan, and identify and coordinate appropriate corrective measures
Act as the site focal point for planning-related digital tools, including SAP PM and campaign planning systems
Coordinate with central functions to support compliance with Danish requirements for permits, certifications, and statutory inspections across the wind farm
Support continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability initiatives within operations
Identify and help realise operational synergies across the offshore fleet
Ensure activities are performed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental standards, applicable legislation, and continuous improvement principles
Job requirements and experience
Educational or professional background in a relevant technical discipline
Experience in the operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms, preferably including planning responsibilities
Experience with digital software solutions used within offshore wind operations, such as SAP PM
Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities
A proactive, structured, and analytical approach to planning, coordination, and problem-solving
Strong awareness of occupational health and safety requirements
Ability and physical fitness to work offshore and at height on an occasional basis
Fluency in written and spoken English, with Danish language skills considered an advantage; as this is a site-based position, you should live within commuting distance of Thorsminde

Thor will be located approximately 22 kilometres off the coast of Thorsminde on the west coast of Jutland. With a planned capacity of more than 1 GW and 72 Siemens Gamesa SG 14-236 DD offshore wind turbines, it is being developed as Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm to date. Once fully operational in 2027, Thor is expected to generate green electricity equivalent to the annual consumption of more than one million Danish households.
