Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding the organizations computer systems and networks This role requires a strong understanding of information security principles and practices as well as experience in risk management and compliance

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement security policies procedures and standards to ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of information assets

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks

Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and investigate any incidents

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure solutions for new systems or applications

Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks

Conduct employee training on information security best practices

Participate in audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards

Requirements Bachelors degree in Information Security Computer Science or a related field

Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role

Knowledge of common security frameworks eg ISO 27001 and regulatory requirements eg GDPR

Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys

Familiarity with network protocols firewalls intrusion detectionprevention systems encryption technologies etc

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear language for non-technical stakeholders

Location This position is located in Odense but remote work options may be available

Salary The salary for this position is $1600 per month

Contract Type This is a contract position with potential for extension
