A data analytics specialist is responsible for collecting organizing and analyzing large sets of data to uncover insights and make informed business decisions The ideal candidate should have experience in data analysis and possess strong technical and analytical skills They should also have excellent communication skills to effectively present their findings to stakeholders
Responsibilities Collect organize and analyze large sets of data from various sources
Develop and implement data analytics strategies
Use statistical techniques to identify patterns and trends in the data
Create visualizations and reports to present insights and findings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable recommendations based on data
Continuously monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics
Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Mathematics Statistics Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 2 years experience in data analysis
Proficient in SQL PythonR and Excel for data manipulation and analysis
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred
Knowledge of statistical methods regression clustering etc
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to present complex information in a clear manner
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
This is a contract job located in Faroe Islands with a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation will not be provided. The candidate must have a valid work permit for Faroe Islands or be eligible for one.
