Back-End Developer - Kolding, Denmark

This is a growing technology company in Kolding, Denmark looking for a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our team. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex back-end systems to support our web and mobile applications. Your main duties will include writing code, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as Java or Python, as well as experience with databases and server technologies. Responsibilities

Designing and implementing efficient and scalable back-end systems

Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code

Troubleshooting issues and debugging code

Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements

Ensuring high performance of applications through optimization techniques

Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality standards

Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role

Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as Java or Python

Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and server technologies (e.g. Apache)

Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS) is a plus

Experience working with agile development methodologies

Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
