Executive Chef

Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our fine dining restaurant in Kolding Denmark The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences and the ability to lead and inspire a team of talented chefs

Responsibilities Create and execute seasonal menus that showcase local sustainable ingredients

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and plating

Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper techniques recipes and safety protocols

Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste presentation and portioning

Maintain inventory levels and control costs through effective purchasing and budget management

Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery to guests

Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen

Requirements At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting

Culinary degree or equivalent training from a reputable institution

Strong knowledge of European cuisine with a focus on Nordic flavors is preferred

Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment with high volume production

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
