Job Description

Do you want to join a global fund manager in energy infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is currently looking for an Analyst (Student Assistant) to join our Flagship Portfolio Management Team based in Copenhagen.

Team

The Flagship Portfolio Management team sits at the heart of our investment platform, overseeing the performance, strategy, and long‑term value creation of our largest funds. The team manages the full lifecycle of the portfolio, shaping its composition and tracking its development and performance, while continuously assessing optimization opportunities and risks in the underlying investments. The team ensures alignment with each fund's strategy and contributes to shaping the investment strategies of future Flagship Funds. Working closely with investment teams, asset managers, senior leadership, and investor relations, the team develops portfolio models, reporting frameworks, and decision‑support materials for senior leadership that guide both day‑to‑day management and long‑term financial and strategic planning. Joining the Flagship Portfolio Management team means contributing directly to the success of our largest funds in a dynamic, analytical, and collaborative environment.

Role

As an Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the management and performance oversight of our Flagship Funds. You'll gain exposure to various renewable energy infrastructure asset types, collaborate with experienced professionals across the organization, and contribute directly to the performance of our Flagship Funds. Along the way, you'll develop a solid toolbox within financial modelling, analytical skills, and understanding of the infrastructure asset class in a global context. It's an ideal environment for someone who thrives in analytical, busy settings and wants to play a meaningful role in shaping portfolio outcomes. The position is approximately 25-30 hours per week alongside your studies, with full flexibility around exam periods. Top performing Analysts may receive an offer to join us as full-time Associate upon graduation.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

Support the ongoing monitoring and analysis of the Flagship Fund's portfolios, tracking key performance indicators, market trends, and asset level developments

Prepare high‑quality materials for investment committees, senior management, and investor reporting

Maintain, update, and enhance portfolio models, dashboards, and reporting tools

Identify risks and opportunities within the portfolio and support optimization efforts
