Technical project manager sought for green energy plants
The green transition is important for everyone’s future.
Denmark is becoming increasingly independent of fossil gas and replacing it with green, bio-based energy sources. At Lundsby, we build, maintain, and expand biogas plants, which already produce a significant portion of the gas we use in Denmark. This means that you can help create a green future that we can all live in. If you are skilled and dedicated, you can help make our green ambitions to make our blue planet greener a reality.
Purpose of the position
Ensure the efficient execution and coordination of technical tasks, assembly, and maintenance—while also handling inventory management and material availability for customers and internal projects. The position requires practical experience, structure, and the ability to quickly solve problems and get things done.
At Lundsby, we need a Swiss Army knife with many functions. Your day-to-day work will involve many different tasks where you will need to juggle many balls in the air at the same time.
We offer you a central role
You will play an important role as Technical project manager, primarily in servicing, expanding, and modernizing existing biogas plants in the Nordic region.
Together with great colleagues, you will plan and carry out both large and small replacements of production equipment, conversions, modernizations, and expansions of existing plants.
You will work closely with Lundsby’s experienced technical experts on project planning and specification, and you will plan, organize, and coordinate the actual execution on site.
On a daily basis, you will be the link between Lundsby’s technical support, our technicians, the customer’s operations organization, and internal key functions such as logistics/purchasing and controlling. You must also be able to take an analytical approach to troubleshooting, but also be able to use tools when necessary.
Your primary responsibilities
Technical execution and problem solving
Plan, coordinate, and (when relevant) participate in assembly and installation tasks on facilities and equipment.
Perform troubleshooting and ensure rapid resolution of technical problems on site.
Ensure correct setup, testing, and functionality of systems.
Document completed tasks and quality-assure deliveries.
Project and task coordination
Specify tasks in collaboration with customers and colleagues
Prepare schedules, coordinate progress, and report status internally and externally.
Coordinate implementation with technicians, logistics & purchasing, and the customer.
Support financial management and purchasing in connection with the projects.
Planning your own tasks
Structure and prioritize your own tasks to meet deadlines.
Coordinate with colleagues for an efficient workflow.
Ensure that the necessary materials and tools are ready before starting.
Document completed tasks systematically.
Warehouse and materials management
Receive, register, and organize materials and components in your own warehouse.
Maintain the warehouse management system and ensure correct inventory levels.
Coordinate purchasing and ensure material availability at the right time.
Monitor storage space and optimize logistics and flow.
Technical background and hands-on experience with technical solutions, assembly, and troubleshooting.
Experience from process engineering plants is an advantage (e.g., supply, treatment plants, industrial production, oil/gas, food, or similar).
Relevant education, e.g., mechanics/electrical engineering, blacksmithing, marine engineering, etc.
Good understanding of IT (ERP systems, MS Office).
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks.
Flexibility for travel.
Structured, responsible, and detail-oriented.
Proactive and solution-oriented—gets things done.
Good collaboration skills and strong communication across professional groups.
Residence within reasonable distance of Løgstrup is an advantage.
