Senior Software Developer, Adaptive Performance

Investigate CPU, GPU, memory, thermal, and runtime performance issues across Unity and supported platforms

Design and develop Adaptive Performance features that improve runtime stability, efficiency, and developer insights

Profile applications and engine workloads to identify bottlenecks and turn performance data into actionable solutions

Collaborate with Unity teams, platform holders, hardware partners, OEMs, and customers

Contribute to technical design, implementation, testing, code reviews, mentoring, and AI-assisted performance workflows

Requirements

Strong software development experience with C# and C++, including large and unfamiliar codebases

Deep understanding of CPU, GPU, memory, threading, and managed and native runtime performance

Hands‑on experience with profiling and diagnostic tools, such as Unity Profiler, Xcode Instruments, Perfetto, or equivalent

Strong debugging and analytical skills, with the ability to own complex and technically ambiguous problems

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to mentor others and share technical knowledge

Experience with graphics or hardware profiling tools, such as RenderDoc, Snapdragon Profiler, or Arm tooling

Experience profiling and optimizing real‑time applications across Android, iOS, desktop, console, or web

Knowledge of performance‑analysis tools, runtime feedback systems, telemetry, machine learning, or AI‑driven optimization

Sufficient knowledge of English for professional verbal and written exchanges
