As an Interpreter you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This position will require you to have a deep understanding of both the source and target languages as well as cultural nuances and customs.
Key Responsibilities Listen to speakers in one language and accurately interpret their words into the target language.
Translate written documents from one language to another.
Facilitate effective communication between parties by interpreting accurately and in a culturally sensitive manner.
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
Continuously improve your knowledge of relevant languages and cultures by attending workshops, conferences and other professional development opportunities.
Requirements Fluency in at least two languages including English.
Strong verbal communication skills in both source and target languages.
Excellent listening skills.
Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications Degree in Linguistics or related field.
Previous experience as an interpreter or translator.
Familiarity with industry-specific terminology.
Salary $1700 per month
