Mechanical Design Engineer - Data Centre Projects
Contract: Freelance or Permanent
Hybrid working: One week a month in any of the offices across the Nordics
We're looking for multiple Mechanical Design Engineers with 4-5 years of data centre design experience to join a specialist engineering team delivering mission-critical projects across the Nordics.
Responsibilities Design and deliver mechanical systems for hyperscale and colocation data centres.
Develop and optimise HVAC, cooling, and chilled water solutions.
Improve design strategies to enhance performance, reliability, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.
Review technical designs and provide subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
4-5 years of data centre mechanical design experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, chilled water, and mission-critical infrastructure.
Experience optimising designs and delivering engineering best practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
