IMS / iSBC Core Expert – Project Coordination & Migration

We are looking for an experienced IMS / Voice Core professional with strong knowledge of IMS, iSBC/eSBC and SIP Trunking, combined with experience in technical project coordination and migration planning.

The IMS/iSBC solution is already implemented and the project is now moving into the migration phase. The consultant will support the existing project lead and technical experts with planning, coordination and follow-up of migration activities between the customer, Nokia, the legacy operator organization and other technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support planning and coordination of IMS/iSBC migration activities.

Coordinate migration of SIP Trunks, interconnects and related voice services.

Coordinate activities between the customer, Nokia, the legacy operator organization and other technical teams.

Identify dependencies, required integration steps and open actions.

Follow up on implementation activities, technical issues and blockers.

Support migration planning, testing, cutover and post-migration activities.

Maintain migration plans and relevant technical documentation.

Required Experience

Strong experience with IMS / Voice Core.

Good practical understanding of iSBC/eSBC and SIP Trunking.

Experience with telecom migration and integration projects.

Experience with technical project coordination or project management.

Understanding of SIP-based interconnect and voice service integration.

Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.

Preferred

Experience from a telecom operator or major telecom vendor.

Experience with Voice Core or SIP Trunk migrations.

Understanding of IP backbone dependencies.

Scandinavian telecom experience is an advantage.

Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced IMS / Voice Core specialist who combines strong technical understanding with project coordination and migration experience. The role supports the existing project lead and technical experts and is focused on planning, coordination and execution of migration activities.
