Material Manager

Your role The Material Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end flow of project-related materials. The primary objective is to ensure that all materials are delivered in the correct quantity, to the right location, at the right time - aligned with project milestones and customer contracts.

Tasks Plan and coordinate overall project materials

Main contact for all material and logistics matters in the project

Track material status and manage risks related to delays or shortages

Ensure deliveries meet contract terms, requirements and documentation standards

Handle export control, end-user certificates, dangerous and classified goods according to regulations

Coordinate CoC, CoA, and other delivery documents

Ensure correct transport, packaging, labeling, and transport documentation

Coordinate with warehouses packing slots

Optimize inventory levels and avoid excess project stock

Monitor orders and shipments to meet project schedules

Work closely with Procurement, Quality, project core team and Warehouse

Your profile Proven experience in logistics environment

Project management experience

Attention to details and capable to work under strict deadlines

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have had residency within NATO/EU for the last 7 years.

Our offices are located in the attractive Sønderborg area with easy access from the motorway.
