Senior Test Engineer - R&D

Schneider Electric is a global market‑leading company shaping the future of Energy Management and Automation. The Test Engineer position is based in our R&D center in Kolding, Denmark and focuses on developing energy management products, particularly 3‑phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and power converters.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot complex problems, using knowledge of high‑power equipment

Define and plan mechanical and electrical tests on UPS products

Build test setups, recreate customer issues and work with the team to implement solutions

Define, plan and execute Verification & Validation tests and regulatory compliance and certification tests

Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality releases

Participate in new test methodology development, and adapt to applicable new technologies or tools

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience as a Test Engineer or Verification & Validation engineer with knowledge of 3‑phase data center UPS products

Background in Power Electronics, Electronics or Electrical Engineering

Experience and knowledge of electronic hardware power design, including power converters and 3‑phase power systems

Basic understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Certification (IEC/UL/EMI, etc.) is an advantage

Full proficiency in written and spoken English
