Work location: Klareboderne 1, central Copenhagen
Reporting to: Claus B. Fischer, Manager, Finance
The role you’ll play
As our new Senior Associate, Finance, you will have an exciting and varied workday with responsibilities across month-end reporting, statutory accounts production, process optimisation, and support to Finance Managers. You’ll work across multiple entities managed by AIP, with focus on the management company.

Taking ownership of month-end and year-end processes within your scope, ensuring timely, high-quality deliveries
Supporting controlling, including follow-up, variance analysis and clear input for stakeholders
Contributing to budget/forecast processes and providing structured follow-up on actuals
Supporting group reporting, ensuring accurate inputs and clear commentary for relevant stakeholders
Contributing to statutory accounting/reporting, including coordination of annual reporting deliveries and collaboration with auditors/advisers
Building and applying a solid understanding of AIP’s fee structure (e.g., how fees are calculated, accrued, analysed and reflected in reporting)
Supporting tax/VAT-related tasks (with support from the tax department), including coordination of inputs and timelines
Supporting the development of team members
Contributing to process optimisation and finance development projects through enhanced use of ERP and reporting tools
Desired experience and competencies
What you’ll need to bring
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or similar
Ideally a background from audit, ready to move in-house — or audit + 1–2 years in an in-house role
A positive mindset and the ability to work in a complex business environment where changes are a part of the daily operations
Ideally you have experience in:
Controlling and month/year-end processes
Budget/forecast processes and group reporting
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in Danish and English, verbally and in writing
IT skills:
Proficient in MS Office – especially Excel
Experience with ERP systems (preferably Dynamics 365 Business Central)
