The role offers a high degree of technical influence and responsibility in an innovative environment where your work will contribute directly to the development of future camera technologies.

You will also work with high end image sensors and FPGA based platforms, including advanced Xilinx technologies and next generation FPGA solutions. In addition, you will help bridge the gap between development and production by supporting manufacturability, validation, and troubleshooting activities.

Your responsibilities

Design and development of digital electronics, including FPGA, CPU, GPU, and AI based circuits

PCB layout and optimization, including generation of production files such as BOM and Gerber files

Collaboration with PCB and EMS suppliers regarding production and manufacturing

Development of test procedures for PCBA and system level functional testing

Technical support for production and optimization of production testing

Collaboration with mechanical, FPGA, and software teams to ensure integration between hardware and software

Board bring up, debugging, and validation activities

Quality assurance of hardware design and component selection

Your profile

Qtechnology is looking for an engineer with a strong technical foundation and hands on experience within advanced electronics and PCB design.

They expect you to have most of the following competences:

Experience taking hardware designs from concept to final product with minimal PCB revisions

Ability to work independently with board bring up and debugging

Strong English communication skills

Minimum 2 years of experience with Altium Designer

Experience with schematic design, PCB footprint development, and component libraries

Experience designing complex PCBs including micro vias, buried vias, and flex rigid solutions

Experience with oscilloscope based debugging

Experience with Xilinx or Altera FPGA PCB design

Understanding of signal integrity and power integrity principles

The following qualifications are considered an advantage:

Experience with DDR3 4 5 memory design and simulation

Familiarity with PCIe, USB C, DisplayPort, and Ethernet technologies

Linux knowledge from a user or kernel perspective

Experience with microcontroller programming in C

Experience with VHDL and AMD/Xilinx FPGA development

Understanding of TCP/IP networking

Experience with hardware design for AMD or Intel x86 CPU motherboards

What Qtechnology offers

At Qtechnology, you will become part of a highly specialized engineering environment working with advanced imaging technologies and next generation hardware platforms.

The role offers a high degree of freedom and responsibility, where you will have the opportunity to influence technical solutions while continuing to develop professionally in a rapidly evolving industry.
