Preservation Architect

Location: Horsens Denmark

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Horsens Denmark.

As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while ensuring they meet safety and building code standards.

Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and necessary preservation measures

Develop and implement preservation plans that adhere to safety and building code regulations

Work closely with clients contractors and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of preservation projects

Prepare detailed drawings specifications and cost estimates for preservation projects

Source appropriate materials for restoration work while considering budget constraints

Supervise construction work to ensure it meets the project requirements and quality standards

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise

Stay updated on current preservation techniques materials and regulations in order to provide the best possible service to clients

Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field

Minimum of 2 years experience in historic preservation or conservation architecture

Strong knowledge of building codes safety regulations and historic preservation techniques

Proficient in AutoCAD SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite or similar software

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Fluent in English Danish language skills are a plus
