Excavator Operator

We are in need of an experienced and skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Vejle

As an Excavator Operator you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to excavate move and grade earth rock gravel or other materials Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the excavator while meeting project deadlines and maintaining high-quality work

Responsibilities - Operate various types of excavators according to project specifications

- Conduct daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the equipment

- Read and interpret blueprints maps and other construction plans

- Use hand signals or radio communication to coordinate with ground crew

- Monitor excavation activities to ensure accuracy and prevent accidents or damage

- Load and unload materials from trucks using the excavators bucket or attachments

- Keep track of inventory levels for materials used during excavation

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements - At least 2 years of experience as an Excavator Operator in a construction or similar environment

- Valid certification or license for operating heavy machinery such as an excavator

- Knowledge of safety regulations related to operating heavy equipment

- Familiarity with reading construction plans and blueprints

- Physical strength and stamina to operate the equipment for extended periods of time

- Ability to multitask prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines

- Attention to detail for accurate excavation work

- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members
