Main purpose of the position:

As Group Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting, transparency, and control across the ISS Group. You will be part of the Group Controlling team and work closely with finance colleagues across countries, business units, and Group Functions. The role offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders and provides an excellent opportunity to develop a strong understanding of a global, listed company.

You will be responsible for supporting the monthly, quarterly, half-year, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Group accounting policies. You will contribute to the preparation of management reporting, financial analyses, and presentations for senior management, while helping drive continuous improvements in reporting processes, controls, and governance. We expect you to bring a proactive and analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in understanding business performance and key financial drivers. As a trusted finance partner, you will challenge assumptions, provide insights, and help ensure that financial information supports informed decision-making across the Group.

What you’ll do:

Participation in the monthly, quarterly and full-year closing process for actual reporting, including consolidation and preparation of financial statements and notes, including cash flow statements

Drive the controlling within your area of responsibility

Country support in connection to monthly financial reporting

Support to the Group CFO and IR (Investor Relations) with ad-hoc analyses

Ensuring optimal use of the Group Reporting & Consolidation system, OneStream

Continuous process improvements within your area of responsibility

Various other reporting assignments in support of Group Functions

Who you’ll work with:

Group Controlling colleagues based at ISS Group headquarters in Copenhagen

Local finance teams across globally

Group Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, and Internal Audit

Senior stakeholders within Group Functions and business leadership teams

External auditors and other stakeholders when relevant

Candidates are expected to hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration and Auditing – in Denmark known as cand.merc.aud or similar

Minimum requirements: 2-4 years of experience, ideally from a “Big 4” audit firm and/or as a financial controller (big plus if it is from a listed company with a global presence)

The candidate must demonstrate experience within the audit field and know their debit/credit

Any specific experience with Group consolidation from one or more major international companies is an advantage

You thrive in a dynamic work atmosphere, and your experience makes you capable of taking full responsibility for your own tasks

Excel – Advanced user experience

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

You hold a valid work permit and authorisation to work in Denmark
