Job Description

Our growing tech company in Faroe Islands is seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Web Developer you will work alongside experienced developers to create and maintain websites and applications for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front‑end development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as experience with back‑end development using languages such as PHP or Python. Experience with content management systems and e-commerce platforms is a plus. This is a part‑time position with the potential for growth within the company. Candidates must have their own visa to work in Faroe Islands.

Responsibilities Collaborate with senior developers to create and maintain websites and applications

Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code

Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise

Keep up‑to‑date with industry developments and new technologies

Work closely with designers to ensure a seamless user experience

Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in web development

Strong understanding of front‑end development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Experience with back‑end development using languages such as PHP or Python

Knowledge of content management systems WordPress, Drupal and e‑commerce platforms Shopify, WooCommerce

Ability to work independently and within a team

Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Must have own visa to work in Faroe Islands

Compensation & Location Salary: $1,100 per month (part‑time)
