Your role in our team We are seeking a talented Manager with strong leadership skills to lead our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical design, development, and project execution while ensuring high-quality delivery. Strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire and develop teams, and a business mindset that balances cost, quality, and timelines will be critical in driving successful product development and delivery.

You will lead and manage a team of approximately 8 mechanical engineers while providing direction, support, and mentorship throughout all stages of product development.

How you will make a meaningful contribution Your key responsibilities include:

Leading, coaching, and developing a team, ensuring the capabilities and competencies needed to support both current positions and future business growth

Driving the successful delivery of mechanical development projects by controlling planning, estimates, schedules, budgets, and risk management to achieve high-quality results on time and within budget

Partnering with cross-functional teams, including product management, manufacturing, quality assurance, and other key stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, and deliverables throughout the product development lifecycle. Furthermore, identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively resolving challenges to keep projects on track and within scope

Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering processes, productivity, quality, and overall development efficiency

Creating and providing continuous updates of technology roadmaps together with the technical specialists, ensuring that the technical roadmaps are linked to product roadmaps and market needs.

You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

You possess an understanding of mechanical engineering principles, design methodologies, materials science, and manufacturing processes

You have the ability to think strategically and to support the development of and execution of long-term strategies aligned with business objectives, partnering with product management, senior engineers, and stakeholders to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness

The ability to identify emerging technologies and trends in mechanical engineering, evaluate their potential impact on the organization, and make recommendations for adaptation or integration.
