Development Manager - Computer Vision (Reality Capture)

At Dalux, we build software that makes the construction industry smarter and more efficient. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Development Manager to lead teams in our Reality Capture department working with Computer Vision and Machine Learning.

This is a role for someone who combines strong people leadership with solid technical credibility. You do not have to be hands‑on in the code every day, but you need the experience and judgment to lead specialist teams, challenge technical decisions, and help us hire outstanding talent in the field.

The role

As Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a group of specialists working with Computer Vision and spatial understanding of visual data across our Reality Capture products and platform, including building and scaling performance-critical systems in C++. You will work closely with technical leaders, product leaders, and other managers across Dalux Development.

This is not just a delivery role. You will help build a strong specialist environment where talented engineers can do their best work, grow in their careers, and create meaningful product impact.

You will lead and support your team members in their professional growth, motivation, and performance. You will help create clarity, direction, and engagement in a specialist environment, and you will play an active part in attracting and hiring new colleagues.

Team and engineering enablement

You will help your teams succeed by improving ways of working, removing obstacles, and strengthening collaboration. In a specialist department, that also means creating the right conditions for deep technical work, knowledge sharing, and high engineering quality.

Product and cross‑functional collaboration

You will work closely with Product Management, Design, and technical leaders to ensure that our Computer Vision and Machine Learning capabilities are translated into intuitive product features that allow users to navigate, understand, and act on real‑world site data. You will help balance technical possibilities, product value, quality, and long‑term sustainability.

Organizational development and change

As Dalux continues to grow, many of our leaders contribute beyond their own teams. You may take part in or drive initiatives related to tooling, engineering processes, quality, innovation, technical maturity, or organizational development.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a leader with a background in software development and relevant experience from Computer Vision or similar domains working with visual or spatial data. Most importantly, you have the technical understanding and leadership maturity to lead highly skilled specialists and help them perform at a high level.

We expect that you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Experience with development of Computer Vision systems

Experience taking responsibility in either technical leadership, people leadership, or both

A passion for helping other people grow and succeed

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical roles

It is an advantage if you also have:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or applied fields of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Autonomous systems, or similar

Experience leading specialist teams or senior engineers

Experience working with spatial data, mapping, or geometry-heavy problems in a product development context

Experience hiring technical talent in highly specialized fields

Experience working in empowered product teams or similar collaborative product development setups
