DevOps Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in Faroe Islands. As a DevOps Developer you will be responsible for managing the entire software development process from planning and design to deployment and monitoring. Your role will involve collaborating with cross‑functional teams to develop and maintain efficient and reliable systems.

Responsibilities Design, develop and implement automated processes for software builds, deployment and testing.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.

Manage version control systems such as Git or SVN.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Chef or Puppet.

Ensure security and compliance standards are met.

Provide technical support to other teams as needed.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Ruby.

Experience with automation tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.

Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command line tools.

Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Excellent problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Salary 1400$ per month, negotiable based on experience.

Location Faroe Islands. Accommodation provided.

Visa Company will provide visa sponsorship and cover travel expenses for the selected candidate.

Student Eligibility This position is open for students who meet the requirements; full‑time availability during school breaks is required.
