Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding our companys computer networks and systems from potential threats and breaches. This individual will need to have a strong knowledge of information security principles and practices as well as experience in conducting risk assessments, developing security policies and implementing security measures. They must also possess excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and mitigate potential risks. The ideal candidate will have experience with biometric passport systems and be able to work under pressure in urgent situations. This is a full‑time position based in Horsens with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.

Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.

Monitor networks for any suspicious activity or breaches.

Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.

Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats and best practices.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with security standards.

Perform vulnerability testing on systems and applications.

Implement security controls such as firewalls, encryption, access controls, etc.

Train employees on best practices for information security.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

At least 2 years of experience in information security analysis or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of information security principles and best practices.

Experience with biometric passport systems preferred.

Familiarity with common network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, etc.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure in urgent situations.

Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools.

Understanding of regulatory compliance e.g., GDPR.

Relevant certifications e.g., CISSP, CEH are a plus.

Location Horsens or remote within Denmark.

Salary 1700$ per month.
