Crane Operator

As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials on construction sites Your main duties will include inspecting and maintaining the crane setting up and operating the controls and communicating with other team members to ensure safe and efficient operations This position requires a high level of skill and accuracy as well as physical strength and stamina You must also have excellent hand-eye coordination depth perception and spatial awareness This is a contract job located in Horsens with accommodation provided

Responsibilities - Operate various types of cranes such as mobile cranes tower cranes or overhead cranes

- Inspect crane before each use to ensure proper functioning

- Set up crane for operation by assembling boom jib counterweights and attachments

- Operate controls to lift move and place materials according to instructions from site supervisor or signaler

- Monitor load weight limits and make adjustments as necessary

- Communicate with team members via radio or hand signals to ensure safe operations

- Perform routine maintenance on crane such as lubricating parts or replacing worn cables

- Keep accurate records of daily activities including materials lifted and distances moved

- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times

Requirements - Proven experience operating cranes in a construction environment

- Valid crane operator certification or license required

- Strong knowledge of crane mechanics and safety procedures

- Physical strength and stamina to operate controls for extended periods of time

- Excellent hand-eye coordination depth perception spatial awareness

- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions

- Attention to detail

- Flexibility to work varying shifts if needed

Salary $1500 per month
