Position Summary We are hiring a skilled and experienced baker to join our team at a bakery in Esbjerg, Denmark. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of baking experience and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Prepare doughs and batters for different types of bread, pastries, and desserts.
Bake products in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
Decorate and finish baked goods with glazes, icings, fillings or other toppings.
Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed.
Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
Clean work area, equipment, utensils and tools after each shift.
Order ingredients and supplies as needed.
Train new employees on bakery procedures and recipes.
Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a baker in a professional kitchen or bakery setting.
Knowledge of different types of flours, yeast, sugars and other baking ingredients.
Ability to read recipes accurately and follow instructions closely.
Strong attention to detail to ensure consistency in product appearance and taste.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time while performing repetitive tasks.
Good time management skills to meet production deadlines.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
