Profession Database Administrator City Roskilde Denmark As a Junior Database Administrator you will be responsible for the maintenance security and performance of our companys databases. You will work closely with the senior database administrator to ensure data integrity and availability. Your duties will include monitoring database activity, performing backups and recovery procedures, optimizing database performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You will also assist in the development and implementation of new database systems and upgrades. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in the field to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Monitor database activity and performance to ensure data integrity
Perform regular backups and recovery procedures
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise with the databases
Assist in the development and implementation of new databases or upgrades
Optimize database performance to ensure efficient operation
Work closely with the senior database administrator to maintain data security
Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Familiarity with database management systems DBMS
Experience with backup and recovery procedures
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Salary 1400$ per month negotiable based on experience
