Job Description

Job Description Are you passionate about bringing together motors, controllers, software, and digital systems to create products that work seamlessly from end to end? Do you want to work on something bigger than day-to-day development— a major strategic initiative that will shape our future platforms? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new Product Development Engineer, you will be leading the advancement of next-generation pump and motor technologies to strengthen sustainable groundwater solutions for customers worldwide. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well‑being, and a sense of belonging.

Your Main Responsibilities Include Own end-to-end system integration of products, ensuring functionality across electrical, software, and digital domains

Tune and optimize motor control software and controller behavior to meet system performance requirements

Integrate and validate communication interfaces including GENI, powerline communication, and digital services

Define and manage system requirements, interfaces, and dependencies between components across disciplines

Drive system‑level troubleshooting and root cause analysis, resolving integration issues across domains

Contribute to architecture decisions and system design trade‑offs balancing performance, cost, and reliability

What makes you a great fit Above all, you are a systems‑minded engineer with strong control systems expertise, excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, and the ability to see and optimize the full product — not just individual components.

We Would Also Imagine That You Have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar discipline

Strong knowledge and practical experience with control systems and motor control software

Proven experience with system integration across electrical, software, and communication domains

Understanding of motor, drive, and controller interaction in pump or similar industrial applications

It Is a Plus If You Also Experience with industrial communication protocols such as GENI, PLC interfaces, or powerline communication

Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or structured systems engineering approaches

Application experience within groundwater or submersible pump systems

Why you will love working here A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.

Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well‑being activities.

Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.

Access to on‑demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.
