Job Description

The data expert who thinks like a product owner

At VENZO, we’re expanding our team and are looking for an experienced Senior Data Profile who combines deep data expertise with a product-oriented mindset.

Are you motivated by turning complex data landscapes into reliable, governed, and insight-driven platforms?

Do you thrive at the intersection of technical delivery and business value – shaping data products that organisations actually use?

If you want your work to move beyond dashboards and into strategic data product ownership, this could be the right place for you.

About VENZO

At VENZO, we believe in the power of technology to create meaningful change – today, not tomorrow. You’ll join a team of specialists who live and breathe digital transformation, helping some of Denmark’s most influential organisations turn data into action.

Here, innovation isn’t a buzzword, it’s how we think, collaborate, and deliver.

We’re a Microsoft partner with offices in Copenhagen and Aarhus, 180 colleagues, low hierarchy, equal pay principles, and a no‑nonsense culture focused on outcomes.

About the role

You will play a dual role – combining hands‑on delivery of data and AI solutions with technical product ownership of the data products and capabilities we design, build, and evolve for our clients.

Your responsibilities may include:

Defining and prioritising data product backlogs in close collaboration with business stakeholders

Translating business requirements into structured data solutions with clear ownership and governance

Ensuring data solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with modern data mesh and lakehouse principles

Acting as the bridge between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders

Defining KPIs, success criteria, and roadmaps for data products

Ensuring data quality, lineage, and governance standards are embedded by design

Evaluating and applying emerging technologies within the modern data stack

For senior candidates, the role also includes:

Driving business development by identifying new opportunities, contributing to proposals, and helping grow strategic client accounts

Acting as primary contact for clients

Contributing to the evolution of our Data & AI capabilities and service offerings

Opportunities to shape the role according to skill set

Your background

We are open to different experience levels, provided you bring strong data fundamentals, practical delivery experience, and a product mindset.

Experience and Education

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or equivalent practical experience

3+ years of experience in a data role delivering production-ready solutions (could be engineering, architecture, governance or BI)

You may have experience acting as a technical Product Owner or technical lead on data products or BI platforms

Hands‑on experience across the full data lifecycle – from ingestion and modelling to consumption and governance

Experience working with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into data solutions

Product tooling: Backlog management in Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar
