Network Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

You will join a team of skilled professionals, participate in IT Infrastructure projects and take care of Satair’s global network, consisting of Cisco ecosystem, NAC, Checkpoint Firewalls, VPN, Wifi and CATO Networks SASE solutions.

The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The role also involves creating and maintaining network documentation, working closely with network support vendors to coordinate troubleshooting and support activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for the daily handling of Service Requests through our IT Service Management tool.

Cisco cloud managed (Meraki) transition

Network integration with US based company that has recently joined Satair

Migration to FWaaS

Zero Trust Network implementation

Security postures

SAP Datacenter transition

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT Infrastructure role

Deep knowledge and experience with Cisco network ecosystem (Meraki is a plus)

Hands on experience with firewall technologies (Checkpoint is a plus)

Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

IT-related education (IT Technician/Engineer) or a Bachelor degree

Knowledge of ITIL framework, preferably certified in ITIL V4 Foundation

Experience working with ITSM systems

Fluent in English both written and verbally

Strong written communication and attention to detail

Valid references that attest to your skills and personality
