Executive Chef

We are searching for a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at our high-end restaurant in the beautiful city of Copenhagen As the Executive Chef you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations from menu creation and staff management to food preparation and quality control You will have a strong passion for food and a creative flair that allows you to constantly innovate and elevate our menu offerings

Responsibilities Create and develop new menu items that align with current food trends and customer preferences

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen ensuring smooth service and high-quality dishes

Train mentor and manage kitchen staff providing guidance on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures

Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed while adhering to budgetary constraints

Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality

Implement and maintain proper sanitation practices in the kitchen according to health codes and company standards

Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service for guests

Continuously review and improve kitchen processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste

Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine-dining restaurant setting

Culinary degree or equivalent experiencetraining in a reputable culinary institution

Extensive knowledge of various cuisines cooking techniques flavor combinations and plating presentations

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate train and manage a diverse team

Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Solid understanding of inventory management systems and cost control measures

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Fluent in English Danish proficiency is an asset
