Job Description

Twoday is the leading digital transformation partner in Northern Europe with a global presence. With approximately 3,000 specialists, we collaborate with some of the most admired private and public organisations to deliver cutting‑edge digital solutions. Our expertise spans software engineering, Data & AI, cloud platforms, digital experiences and business applications.

We are now looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help transform a large‑scale development and deployment platform from traditional DevOps into a modern AI‑assisted and agentic engineering setup.

Permanent position at Twoday | Copenhagen

Technical Solution Architect – .NET, Microservices & Integrations

Are you a technically strong Solution Architect who can turn complex system landscapes into robust, maintainable solutions – while remaining close enough to the code to guide implementation?

Twoday is looking for an experienced Technical Solution Architect for a permanent position in our Digital Engineering business unit. Your first assignment will be with a major Danish public‑sector organisation in Copenhagen, where you will help shape solutions across multiple business‑critical systems, integrations and delivery partners.

Your role You will act as a trusted technical adviser to the customer and help ensure that proposed solutions are technically sound, realistic and aligned with the wider system landscape.

This is not a purely strategic or documentation‑focused architecture role. You must understand the technology in depth, engage directly with developers and contribute actively from clarification and solution design through implementation and operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing scalable solutions based on .NET, microservices, APIs and asynchronous messaging

Understanding complex system landscapes, dependencies and technical constraints

Driving technical clarifications across system owners, development teams and external suppliers

Assessing, challenging and improving solution recommendations from delivery partners

Defining clear service boundaries, interfaces, integration patterns and data ownership

Ensuring robust error handling, retries, idempotency and traceability across distributed systems

Supporting developers through technical sparring, design reviews and code‑level discussions

Contributing to architecture decisions, technical documentation and implementation plans

Ensuring that operations, monitoring, logging, security and maintainability are addressed from the outset

Promoting automated testing, CI/CD and efficient delivery practices

Using AI‑assisted development tools to increase delivery speed without compromising quality, security or correctness

What we are looking for You have several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead or senior software engineer with significant architectural responsibility. You combine strong technical judgement with the ability to communicate clearly and move complex discussions towards concrete decisions.

We expect you to have: A strong hands‑on background in C# and modern .NET

Experience with microservices, distributed systems and integration‑heavy solutions

Solid experience designing and implementing REST APIs

Experience with message‑based integration, preferably RabbitMQ or comparable technologies

A practical understanding of retries, dead‑letter handling, idempotency, ordering and duplicate messages

Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and automated testing

Experience with logging, monitoring, distributed tracing and operational troubleshooting

The ability to translate business and technical requirements into workable solution designs

Experience advising customers and communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

The confidence to challenge proposed solutions constructively and explain technical trade‑offs

Experience coordinating dependencies across teams, systems or external suppliers

A structured and independent approach, with ownership from initial clarification to implementation

Practical experience using AI tools as part of software development

Experience from public‑sector or other complex, regulated environments is an advantage.

Practical requirements You are fluent in Danish, both spoken and written

You can work full time onsite with the customer in Copenhagen

You are interested in permanent employment with Twoday

We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible
