Network and Systems Administrator

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Esbjerg, Denmark. As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization environments. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth running of our network infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities Install, configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues

Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and access rights on various systems

Maintain security policies to ensure data protection

Install new software releases and system upgrades

Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures

Provide technical support to end‑users on hardware and software issues

Keep track of hardware inventory and recommend upgrades when necessary

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network or Systems Administrator

Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing protocols, BGP, firewalls, Cisco ASA, VPNs, IPSec, DNS/DHCP services

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V

Strong understanding of Windows Server operating systems 2008, 2012, and 2016

Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus

Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment

Salary: 1600$ per month

This is a contract position with flexible working hours that can accommodate students who are looking to gain hands‑on experience in the field.
