As a Part-Time Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our companys information systems and data You will work closely with the IT team to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks and implement measures to mitigate them This role is ideal for students or those seeking a part-time position in the field of information security
Responsibilities Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious behavior
Implement and maintain security protocols procedures and guidelines
Stay current on industry trends and best practices
Collaborate with the IT team to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop solutions
Communicate security issues to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or currently pursuing
Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
Familiarity with common operating systems applications and network devices
Understanding of encryption technologies firewalls intrusion detectionprevention systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
