ABOUT SKJOLDET We are a Danish fintech startup turning the approach to digital fraud on its head. Imagine being able to convert a phishing site into a signal that could stop everyone from losing money to that exact scam. That's what we're working on. And why? We witnessed first‑hand how digital fraud hits ordinary people, especially those close to us, costing them both time and money. We decided to do something about it. Instead of reacting to fraud after the fact, we stop it proactively, outside the bank's systems, before the payment goes through. We are a small, ambitious team of two founders, developers and analysts, entering a new chapter of investment and scaling.

YOUR ROLE As our Software Developer, you'll be an important part of a small, hands‑on technical team – contributing to real features, learning from experienced developers, and helping build systems that detect fraud before money is lost. You'll work closely with our CTO and the rest of the team, and from day one your work will have a real impact.

Build and maintain features across our backend and frontend systems

Work on real‑time data pipelines that process fraud signals at scale

Collaborate with fraud analysts and developers to turn data into actionable prevention

Write clean, reliable code and learn to take ownership of your contributions

Grow your skills in a production environment with meaningful, complex problems

TECH STACK TypeScript / JavaScript · Node.js · MongoDB / NoSQL · React · AI / ML

WHAT YOU BRING We're not just hiring your CV. We're hiring your curiosity, your willingness to learn and your drive to build things that actually matter.

A degree in software engineering, computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience

Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript and a desire to go deeper

Some experience with backend development, whether from jobs, studies, projects or internships

Comfortable learning new technologies and asking questions when you're stuck

Interest in AI/ML and how data can be used to solve real‑world problems

Eager to grow in a startup environment where you take real ownership

Experience from fintech, finance or regulated environments is a plus – but far from required
