We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team in Faroe-Islands As a Tester you will be responsible for identifying and reporting software defects as well as ensuring the overall quality of our software products
Key Responsibilities Conduct manual and automated testing on software applications to identify defects
Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing
Document and track defects using bug tracking tools
Validate bug fixes and ensure that they meet the required specifications
Continuously improve and streamline the software testing process
Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field preferred
Proven work experience as a Software Tester or similar role
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle SDLC and quality assurance processes
Experience with manual and automated testing tools eg Selenium JIRA
Knowledge of programming languages eg Java Python is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Salary Salary 1200$ per month negotiable based on experience
Location Location Faroe Islands accommodation provided
