Process Engineer - UHT Technology
Would you like to design and deliver innovative process solutions for some of the world's leading food and beverage companies? APV, an ITT Company, is strengthening its Nutrition & Health Solutions organization and is looking for a talented Process Engineer to join our Systems Execution team in Silkeborg, Denmark. Silkeborg is home to our global UHT competence center, combining technology development, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and project execution under one roof. As part of the Process Engineering team, you will work with leading UHT and aseptic processing technologies, helping customers around the world produce safe, high-quality food and beverage products. In this role, you will become part of the Systems Execution organization, where we transform customer requirements into robust and efficient process solutions, supporting projects from initial design through final delivery.
About The Role
As a Process Engineer within the Systems Execution team, you will be responsible for the process design and engineering of customer‑specific UHT systems. Working closely with Sales, Project Management, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Commissioning, and Manufacturing teams, you will ensure that solutions are technically sound, optimized for performance, and delivered according to project requirements. You will be part of a highly skilled global engineering community within Nutrition & Health Solutions, collaborating across functions and regions to deliver industry‑leading processing systems.
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Design and develop UHT systems that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient processing solutions to our customers worldwide.
Selection, sizing, and configuration of UHT systems and key process components to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and operability.
Preparation of complete P&ID packages and item lists, ensuring overall plant coherence, clearly defined system boundaries, and well‑managed interfaces with adjacent systems.
Perform and support technical project activities, including process calculations, design reviews, risk assessments, commissioning support, and performance verification.
Maintain consistent and high‑quality technical designs throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning and customer acceptance.
Required
Degree in Process, Chemical, Dairy, Food Engineering or equivalent
Process Engineering and project execution experience
Team player and a natural relationship builder
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Food & Beverage process industry experience
Experience with UHT, aseptic processing or dairy technology
Competence with AutoCAD
