Back-End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in Aalborg. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications, as well as collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain efficient and reusable server-side code

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role

Strong experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails

Proficient understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc.

Familiarity with database design principles and SQL databases (e.g. MySQL)

Experience working with front-end technologies like HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus

Good understanding of security principles and how they apply to web development

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary

This position offers a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.

Location

This position is based in Aalborg, Denmark. Candidates must either have the right to work in Denmark or be able to obtain a valid work visa.
