We are looking for an people-focused Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering function and support the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable operations across our site in Esbjerg.

As Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in leading the Engineering team and ensuring the effective delivery of maintenance and engineering activities across the site. Working closely with Production, Quality, and Group Engineering, you will help drive equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and operational performance.

Examples of tasks could include: Lead, coach, and develop the Engineering team to ensure high performance and engagement.

Ensure safe working practices and compliance with HSE, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.

Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance programmes, to maximise equipment reliability and availability

Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and the implementation of sustainable corrective actions

Monitor engineering KPIs and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.

Manage engineering budgets, contractors, and resources while collaborating closely with Production, Quality, and Group Engineering to support site objectives

Candidate profile Relevant qualification within Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline

Professional proficiency in Danish and English, both written and verbal

Proven experience managing planned and reactive maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and engage teams

Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance processes, and asset reliability

Experience monitoring performance, driving continuous improvement, and implementing sustainable solutions

Experience managing contractors, projects, and engineering resources

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organisation
