Job Description

Android Developer (Contract) - Aarhus, Denmark We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark on a contract basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as maintain and improve existing codebases. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and be familiar with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Work with outside data sources and APIs

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

2+ years of experience in mobile app development

Proficient in Java or Kotlin

Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs

Understanding of mobile UI/UX standards

Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $900 per month (based on experience)

This is a contract position that does not include accommodation. However, we do offer free visa sponsorship and travel arrangements for international candidates.
