Are you about to finish – or have you recently finished – your Master's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field?

At Dalux, you will join a product team where you can develop your technical skills while taking real responsibility from the the outset. You will work alongside experienced developers, Product Managers, and Product Designers to build software used across the global construction industry.

Your role

As a Full-Stack Software Developer, you will work across our technology stack and take part in developing features end-to-end – from understanding the problem and designing a solution to implementation and delivery.

You will not be expected to know everything when you join.

Instead, we expect you to be curious, willing to learn, and ready to take increasing ownership as your skills develop. You will have experienced colleagues around you for daily technical sparring, code reviews, and support.

Your work will include:

Designing and developing new product functionality

Working across both front-end and back-end technologies

Collaborating with developers, Product Managers, and Product Designers

Writing maintainable, reliable, and high-quality software

Learning our products, architecture, and engineering practices

Taking increasing ownership of features and technical decisions as you develop

Contributing ideas for how we can improve our products and the way we build them

Developing software with AI

AI-assisted development is becoming an increasingly important part of how we build software at Dalux.

We are actively exploring how AI can help developers understand code, explore solutions, implement and refactor functionality, create tests, debug problems, and automate repetitive work.

You do not need to be an AI expert. But we are looking for developers who are curious about these tools, willing to experiment, and able to think critically about when AI improves a solution – and when it does not.

If you have already experimented with AI-assisted development through your studies, student job, personal projects, or other work, we would be interested to hear what you learned.

You are not expected to know our entire stack when you join. Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn are more important.

Product development at Dalux

Your background

We expect that you:

Have, or are about to complete, a Master's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a similar technical field

Have a solid foundation in software development and computer science

Are curious and motivated to learn new technologies

Enjoy solving problems and understanding how things work

Care about building good software, not simply making code compile

Are comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback, and challenging yourself

Want to take ownership and responsibility as your skills grow

Professional experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.

What matters most is your technical potential, curiosity, interest in software craftsmanship, and willingness to learn.
